Plain Remote does not collect, store or share any personal information. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. ThrasherApps never receives anything from the app.
To find and control your TV, Plain Remote talks directly to devices on the Wi-Fi network your iPhone is on, after you allow local network access. It sends button presses, typed search text and app launches to your TV, and reads back the TV's name, model and installed apps. None of this leaves your home network or passes through ThrasherApps.
The list of your TVs, their addresses and the pairing keys your TVs issue are saved only on your iPhone. Deleting a TV in the app, or deleting the app, removes them.
Plain Remote Pro is bought through Apple. ThrasherApps never sees your payment details.
Plain Remote does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
