I removed a video by mistake

Open Photos, go to Albums, scroll to Recently Deleted, and recover it. iOS keeps removed items there for 30 days. Offcut cannot delete anything permanently, so if it is inside that window it is still there.

Will this remove videos from my other devices?

If iCloud Photos is switched on, yes. Removing a video removes it from iCloud and from every device signed into the same Apple Account. That is iCloud behaving normally and it applies to deleting from the Photos app too.

Why is the total smaller than the categories added up?

Because one video can appear in more than one category, and Offcut counts each video once rather than adding the categories together. The Largest list is left out of the total entirely: it shows your biggest videos whatever they are, most of which you probably want to keep, so counting it would inflate the figure.

Two videos look identical but were not grouped

Offcut groups copies by exact file size, pixel dimensions and duration. A video that has been re encoded, trimmed, or sent through a messaging app is a different file even though it looks the same, so it will not group. Long Clips and Largest are useful for finding those by hand.

It says nothing was found

That usually means the category genuinely has nothing in it, which is good news. If you granted access to selected videos only, Offcut can see just those; you can change that in the iOS Settings app under Offcut, Photos.

Restoring a purchase

Open Settings inside Offcut and use Restore Purchases while signed into the Apple Account you bought with. Lifetime, monthly and annual all restore the same way.

Managing or cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside Offcut. Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops the renewal and keeps Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
