By downloading or using StoreWatt, you agree to these terms.
StoreWatt is a reference and planning aid for qualified energy storage professionals. It is not a substitute for NFPA 855, UL 9540 and UL 9540A, the National Electrical Code (including Articles 706 and 480), NFPA 70E, IEEE 1547, the International Fire Code, the site's PE stamped drawings and Emergency Response Plan, the authority having jurisdiction, site procedures, or manufacturer manuals. Where StoreWatt and any of those disagree, they govern, not the app.
A battery energy storage system cannot be de energized; all components must be treated as live at all times, and lockout tagout cannot remove stranded energy. Work on energized equipment, medium voltage systems, and safety critical faults (including thermal events, gas alarms, and insulation and ground faults) must be performed by ESS qualified persons under the applicable safety program. Never approach a suspected thermal runaway event; follow the site Emergency Response Plan. StoreWatt never advises resetting safety faults or overriding plant controls, and nothing in the app authorizes anyone to perform work they are not qualified and authorized to do.
Calculator outputs and reference entries are planning estimates and curated summaries provided in good faith without warranty of accuracy or completeness. A qualified person must verify all results against the governing documents and the manufacturer operating specifications before acting on them. You assume all risk arising from use of the app.
StoreWatt Pro is offered as a monthly subscription ($6.99), an annual subscription ($49.99, with a 7 day free trial for first time subscribers), or a one time lifetime unlock ($99.99), billed through your Apple account. Prices may vary by region. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends; any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policies.
Forms, photos, signatures, receipts, and PDFs you create belong to you and stay on your device. You are responsible for their contents and for where you choose to send them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThrasherApps and Chris Thrasher are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for injury, equipment damage, production loss, fire, or code violations arising from use of or reliance on the app.
These terms may be updated; the date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
