PlugWatt Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 12, 2026

PlugWatt is built for EV charging sites with zero connectivity, so it is offline and private by design. We collect nothing. This policy explains exactly how your information is handled.

Information We Collect

None. PlugWatt has no account, no login, no servers, and no analytics or advertising SDKs. We never see your calculations, your site data, your forms, your photos, or anything else you do in the app.

Data Stored on Your Device

Company, crew, site, and recipient profiles, saved equipment, completed forms, photos, signatures, and generated PDFs are stored only on your device inside the app's own container. Deleting the app deletes them. Nothing is synced, uploaded, or backed up by us anywhere.

Camera and Photos

PlugWatt asks for camera access only when you attach site photos to a commissioning, maintenance, or service form. Images are stored on your device and are never transmitted anywhere by the app.

Email and Sharing

When you email or share a PDF, the app hands the document to Apple Mail or the iOS share sheet, addressed to recipients you configured. That send happens only when you tap it; documents queued while offline wait in the Outbox on your device until you choose to send them.

Networking

The app makes network connections in exactly one case: to Apple's App Store and StoreKit, to offer and verify the optional PlugWatt Pro purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never receive payment details. There are no other connections, ever.

Children's Privacy

PlugWatt does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the revised policy here.
