On the website, open its security settings and turn on two factor sign in (sometimes called two step verification) with an authenticator app. It shows a QR code. In Plain Auth tap +, then Scan QR code, and point the camera at it. Type the 6 digit code Plain Auth shows back into the website to finish. If the site shows a text key instead, choose Enter setup key.
In Google Authenticator, open the menu, choose Transfer accounts, then Export accounts, and pick the accounts. It shows one or more QR codes. In Plain Auth tap +, then Import from Google Authenticator, and scan each code. Check a code or two work before deleting anything from Google Authenticator.
Codes are made from your device's clock. Make sure Settings, General, Date and Time is set to Set Automatically. Each code lasts 30 seconds; if it is about to change, wait for the next one, which Plain Auth shows near the end.
With Plain Auth Pro, turn on iCloud backup and sync in Settings. Your accounts are kept in iCloud Keychain and appear on a new iPhone or your iPad once Plain Auth is installed there and iCloud Keychain is on. Without Pro, an encrypted backup of your iPhone carries your accounts to a new one. You can also use Settings, Move accounts, to show each setup code and scan it on the new device.
Always keep each website's backup codes. They are the safety net if a device is lost.
Turn off two factor sign in on the website first, or make sure you have its backup codes. Deleting the account from Plain Auth removes the only copy of its setup key on this device.
Open Settings and tap Restore purchase while signed in to the Apple Account you bought it with.
