PaidUp Invoices ("PaidUp") is built privacy-first. All of your data stays on your device. This policy explains exactly how your information is handled.
None. PaidUp has no account, no login, no servers, and no analytics or advertising SDKs. We never see your invoices, clients, business details, or anything else you enter.
All invoices, clients, line items, business profile, payment links, and settings are stored only on your device using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData). The app does not transmit this data anywhere. (Data shared with the optional Home Screen widget stays on your device as well.)
PaidUp does not process payments and never handles money or card data. You store your own payment links or handles (for example PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or bank details), and the app simply displays them — along with a QR code — on your invoice. Any payment happens directly between you and your client through the service you choose, outside of PaidUp.
The only network connection the app makes is to Apple's App Store / StoreKit, to offer and verify the optional PaidUp Pro purchase. These transactions are handled entirely by Apple; we never receive your payment details.
If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device that nudge you about your own overdue invoices. PaidUp never contacts your clients automatically, and no notification data leaves your device.
The optional export feature creates CSV and PDF files on your device and shares them only where you choose, via the standard iOS share sheet. Generated invoice PDFs are likewise shared only when and where you decide.
PaidUp does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
You can delete everything at any time from Settings → Delete all data, or by removing the app from your device.
