Questions, bug reports, or a feature you need for trial prep: reach us through the contact page, or use the contact option inside the app under Settings. You will hear back within 2 business days.
Your cases, witness lists, notes, checklists, and scanned documents are stored on your device, and in your own iCloud account if you turn on sync. They are not uploaded to us.
The exception is the AI features. When you generate questions, build a cross examination, or generate an argument, the text you submit for that request is sent out for processing and the result is sent back. That is the only case content that leaves the device, and it only happens when you tap one of those features. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
Treat it the way you would treat any third party service touching client material. You are the one holding the confidentiality obligation, and your jurisdiction, your firm policy, and your engagement letters govern what you may send to an outside processor. Many practitioners submit facts and issues without identifying details. That choice is yours to make, and the app does not make it for you.
AI requests go to a service endpoint operated by ThrasherApps, which forwards them to a commercial large language model provider for processing. The app does not talk to the model provider directly, and no API credentials sit inside the app.
No. TrialMate is a preparation and organization tool for licensed attorneys. Generated questions, arguments, and checklists are drafting aids to be reviewed, verified, and exercised through your own professional judgment before use. Nothing in the app substitutes for your independent legal analysis, the applicable rules of procedure and evidence, or your duty to your client. See the terms of use.
Cases with notes, witness lists and witness preparation, cross examination question building, an argument generator, a trial checklist, and a document scanner. Material can be shared or exported out of the app when you need it elsewhere.
No. Scanned documents stay on your device, and in your iCloud account if sync is on. Scanned content is only transmitted if you deliberately use it in an AI feature.
Turn on iCloud sync and sign both devices into the same Apple account. Data is stored in your own iCloud, under your Apple ID. We have no access to it.
Open Settings inside TrialMate and tap Restore purchases while signed into the same Apple account you bought with. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple; we never see payment details.
Tell us. Use the contact option in Settings and describe what you asked for and what came back. Generated output is a starting draft, and reports from practicing attorneys are what shape the prompts and the features that get built next.
Email the specific workflow and how you use it in practice. This is built by one person, requests from working attorneys set the priority, and every message gets read.
