Every fact carries the date it happened, a summary, detail for quotes and page and line references, and whether the other side disputes it. Each one links to the witnesses who can testify to it and the documents that prove it. Mark a fact disputed and it lands in its own filter, so the contested version of your case is one tap away.

Draft open questions for your own witnesses and leading questions for theirs, and argument outlines, from the facts of your case, then edit them into your own words. A cross built against a dated chronology tied to named witnesses is sharper than anything drafted from loose notes. The output is a starting point for your judgment, never a substitute for it.
Import a deposition, exhibit or order from Files, or scan paper with the camera. Summarise it, most important first: the key facts, dates and names, admissions, the places where it contradicts itself, and the quotable lines with their page markers. Every quotation in the summary is checked against the document, and anything the document does not actually say is marked. Attach it to the facts it proves.

Only material from the matter you are working in is sent. Drafting questions sends the chronology entries tied to that witness and a short excerpt of the documents behind them; argument drafting sends the chronology, the contested facts and your notes. Those never include a whole document. Summarising a document is the one exception: it sends that document’s full text, in sections, because a summary has to read all of it. Nothing from your other matters ever goes with it. No name, no account, no device identifier, no location. Requests pass through a ThrasherApps relay that stores and logs nothing, then OpenRouter, which keeps no copy of the text, to a model provider under a zero data retention agreement. Nothing is stored or used for training.
Nothing goes until you allow it. The first time you tap an AI feature, TrialMate shows exactly what that request will send and where it goes, and asks your permission. You can withdraw it at any time under AI Permission in the More tab. After that, the AI features still run only when you tap them. Everything else, including your cases, notes, witnesses, chronology and documents, stays on your device and in your own iCloud account.
The app does not decide for you what may be sent to an outside processor. Your jurisdiction’s rules, your firm policy, your engagement letters and any protective order govern that judgment. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Pro removes the two matter cap and unlocks the AI features, monthly or yearly, and both start with a one week free trial. Private iCloud backup across your devices is included on every plan, free or Pro, and can be switched off in More if your firm keeps client material out of the cloud. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple and can be cancelled any time in your Apple account settings.
